DIGITAL KITCHEN-ETTE

Spillt had the privilege of co-sponsoring “A night with Digital Kitchen” last night, at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. The two creatives from DK, Creative Director Rama Allen and Creative Lead Bryce Wymer, put on an awesome presentation and talked about all their killer work. We got to see a rare glimpse into their creative world and how they achieve such impressive work. It was nice to see the Denver art scene come out for a dose of some proper inspiration. Helping networks refresh brands through animation

Recently Spillt was tasked with helping ABC Family refresh their flagship brand logo animation for all digital medias. This animation is geared to all forms of digital media including, broadcast, web, phone and interactive. The main goal was to create a builds that retained ABC Family’s cohesive brand package while increasing the excitement and energy of the brand. Why so quiet Spillt?

You may have noticed it has been quiet on the online front for Spillt the past few months. However, in our office it is quite the contrary. The Spillt team has been working long hours on some really amazing new projects with some even more amazing clients. More bling!

This year, Spillt was honored with two awards from The Art Director’s Club of Denver. We were lucky enough to receive both the Gold and Silver awards for our work on the Jesus Freaks Titles and The Playboy IDs respectively. Thanks Denver for all of your support and we promise to keep bringing in more great work to our city in the next year!

Super New Reel 09

FINALLY! After a year of long hours, amazing projects, a move to a bigger office and millions of key frames later we finally finished off our new reel. This past year, Spillt was fortunate enough to work on 3 major network show packages, a VOD network re-brand, some amazing IDs and a feature-length documentary title package. We were also called upon to refresh a long running broadcast campaign for a major college. Everyone here at Spillt loves what we do and we wanted to thank all of our clients for making each project both successful and a pleasure to work on. The ‘09 Spillt reel is jam packed with new work, created with tender love and animation goodness. Hope you enjoy and give us a holler for all your motion design/animation needs. 2009 Next Food Network Star

The folks at Food Network came to us to help them visually redefine their new season of The Next Food Network Star. Our task was to create a new show package, while utilizing some existing brand elements, to give the series a refreshed yet familiar feel. Using a combination of 3D, light effects and 2D we created a style that incorporates the energy, drama and big personalities of their flagship show. Stay tuned, The Next Food Network Star airs Sunday nights at 9pm EST. Check out show open in the work section on our site!

EARTH DAY 2009

For the upcoming Green Holiday, HGTV asked us to create a new look to help brand the new Earth Day programming, premiering the week of April 20th. Based on a simple, bright and colorful “scientific style”, Spillt incorporated elements into a 10 sec full graphic promo, a mix of lower thirds, bumpers and new bugs for the HGTV channels. “The goal was to create a visually stunning piece, nontraditional of current Earth Day themes. We focused on a simple process of growth and carried this idea throughout the promo packaging.” We had an amazing time working with HGTV and hope to do it again soon! See it on-air now!
